Story | Sounds Like Michael (Who the heck is Michael?)

1997. The year I first picked up a pair of drumsticks.

Some big name albums dropped that year from Foo Fighters, Radiohead, The Offspring and The Prodigy

Even Spice Girls dropped "Spiceworld"

(I was always a Sporty Spice fan).

I was inspired by listening to homemade cassette tape recordings of my brother Tim wasted drunk playing drums in the early hours of the morning to piss off the neighbours (Mrs Joiner being arch enemy number 1).

Playing drums was a great antidote for the skinny little energiser bunny I was and still am.

And for 25 years now I've been writing and playing beats on kits and keyboards in bands across the globe, whilst adding other instruments to my arsenal along the way.

(coz who wants to hear just drums the whole time?!)

To now in 2023, where on April 24th, my 1st solo single "I See You" was released.
